1. Plug the shutter release plug into the camera's shutter release socket, then turn on your camera and turn it on.
2. Press the camera shutter button halfway to activate the camera auto focus/metering system and press the shutter halfway to focus accurately;
3. Press the shutter-release button all the way to release the camera shutter for a fast and stable shot.
4. It helps preventing vibration during long exposures (time-lapse photography), close-up (macro photography) or continuous shooting.
